English football must solve its own problem with racism, argues Darren Bent
Darren Bent believes English football should take a look in the mirror and solve its own problem with racism before pointing the finger at others – after a night of shame in Podgorica.Montenegro have been charged by UEFA following the foul racial abuse of Englands players including Raheem Sterling, Danny Rose and Callum Hudson-Odoi – during the Three Lions’ 5-1 victory on Monday night.Monkey chants were aimed at the trio, and Sterling celebrated the fifth goal by pulling his ears out in defiance to what he later called racists on social media.3
